The Approach

Step 1
I'm not a regular therapist, I'm a cool therapist!
That means learning about you, before we dive into your struggles. This is our time to establish chemistry, see if we're a good fit & identify what you hope to get from the therapeutic process.

Step 2
Now that we're rockin' we'll get rollin'.
Using Adlerian Theory, we'll make detailed notes of past relationships including family, friends, school, work, and overall life environment. How you interpreted that time of your life. We will be future focused BUT our past plays an essential role in what forward movement means.

Step 3
Recollection from our past relationships may provide clarity around thoughts (both conscious and unconscious), hopefully bringing up anything that has been suppressed.
We will integrate the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) cycle to bring awareness to how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. From past life experiences to your current life we will bridge any gaps to help with life alignment.

Step 4
Now, for everyone's favorite.
This is when psychoeducation, skills, tools and takeaways come in. We will collaborate on past weeks to see what is or isn't working, and adjust.
As we dive into your past, we will also process day to day events in real time as I help facilitate implementation of what you are learning through the process.
